Arts Foundation Saxony-Anhalt
The Arts Foundation Saxony-Anhalt promotes contemporary art in Saxony-Anhalt by awarding scholarships and project funding. The foundation's initiative programs offer suggestions for addressing regional particularities and innovative developments in art. The aim of the foundation's work is to support the implementation of artistic ideas.
100 years of the bauhaus: the anniversary – Under the motto »Thinking the world anew«, the Bauhaus Association, together with regional, national and international partners, is inviting people to rediscover the historical testimonies of the Bauhaus as well as its significance for the present and the future on the occasion of the founding anniversary in 2019. The anniversary programme 100 years of the Bauhaus provides the framework for this.
Modern thinking is a special trademark of Saxony-Anhalt! Over the centuries, clever minds have developed world-changing ideas in this region that were ahead of their time. Six of them have been recognised by UNESCO as the heritage of mankind – from the Sky Disc to Luther and the Bauhaus. Saxony-Anhalt thus has a unique density of world heritage sites.
Alexander Nickmann is a musician, composer and sound artist from Berlin. He studied at the UDK – Sound Studies, acoustic communication. He composed for the Children`s dance company II of Sasha Waltz & Guests.
avk4 is the cryptonym of the video designers Oscar Loeser and Clemens Kowalski from Berlin. Together they explore the possibilities of projection and installation in urban spaces and in the performing arts, such as for »Architektur einer Linie« in the Uferstudios_for contemporary dance.
BPE BeamAround Projection and Event GmbH rents projectors, displays and LED walls. BeamAround is connected to art and artists in a special way. They appreciate individual perspectives and translate audiovisual demands into a convincing installation.
RAUMINHALT is a project by Mathias Kaßner and Klaus-Michael Kaspar. They develop interdisciplinary individual, intelligent and innovative products in timeless design. RAUMINHALT stands for optimal aesthetic, application-oriented, customer-specific design, planning, conception and execution.
